The LYNK Pop-Up Metal Wallet strips that away and keeps the part that matters: your cards, your cash, and a side trigger that fans them into your hand in under a second. Machined from recycled 6061 aluminum, 2.20 oz on the scale, sized for a front pocket, built to be opened ten times a day for years.
One thumb, one second
Press the side trigger and your cards fan out in a stepped stack, spaced far enough apart to read the one you want. It works with the wallet still in your hand, still in your pocket, or already reaching for the reader. Beside the trigger is a lock switch: pushed to the locked position it seals the slot, so no card can be pushed in or pulled out until you release it — useful on a run for the train, or with the wallet loose in a bag.

The pop-up cartridge holds up to 10 cards. Two more sit in the exterior slots milled into the front and back plates — the metro card and the office badge, the two you tap without opening anything — for 12 in total. The backplate is held on by two screws and the included screwdriver opens it out, so you set the clamp to the stack you actually carry rather than to the stack the factory assumed. Embossed and older raised-number cards fit without forcing.
Bills, without the fold-over bulge
A ribbed elastic strap runs the length of the backplate and grips one to eight folded bills flat against the body. Receipts, a spare key, a business card — anything flat goes under the same strap. The rib pattern is what keeps a single bill from sliding out, which is the failure most elastic straps have on day thirty.
RFID blocked inside the cartridge
The aluminum body forms a continuous shield around the cards held inside the pop-up cartridge: sitting in your pocket they cannot be read. Pop a card out and it taps normally — the shield is the wallet, not a coating on the card. Two things are deliberately outside that shield and worth knowing about: the exterior card slots on the front and back plates, and anything under the cash strap. If a card must be unreadable in your pocket, keep it in the cartridge.
Matte anodized, not painted
The body is machined from recycled 6061 aluminum — the same alloy grade used for bike frames and camera cages — and the matte finish is anodized into the metal rather than sprayed on top, so scuffs from keys and coins don't lift color the way a coated wallet does. It will pick up marks. Aluminum always does, and after a year the wear pattern will be specific to how you carry it.

Does it really hold 12 cards?
Ten in the pop-up cartridge and two in the exterior slots, yes — but a wallet at 12 cards is a thicker object than a wallet at six. The 0.39 in figure is the empty frame; every card you add sits on top of that. Most people settle somewhere around six to eight and use the exterior slots for the two they tap most.
Will my embossed card fit?
Yes. The card channel clears raised numbering. Very thick hotel keycards and some transit cards count as two.
What is the lock switch for?
Pushed to the locked position it closes the slot, so a card can neither be pushed in nor pulled out. Use it when the wallet is loose in a bag or you are moving fast. Release it and the trigger works as normal.
Will my cards fall out if the wallet is shaken?
No. The cartridge grips the stack, and the lock switch closes the slot outright if you want certainty. Cards only leave when you press the trigger.
Does it scratch?
Anodized aluminum resists marking better than coated finishes, but it is metal in a pocket with keys. Expect a patina, not chipping.
Can I carry coins?
No. This is a card and bill wallet. There is no coin pocket by design.
Does it work with metal credit cards?
Yes. The mechanism handles both standard plastic and heavier metal cards without jamming.
How do I clean it?
A damp microfiber cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners — they dull the anodized finish.
